Have you heard about Trinomial or Binomial cubes before?
If you are new to Montessori, you might have never seen these before. These specific cubes are one of the standard learning materials in a Montessori classroom (3-6 years old). The cubes consist of wooden blocks in different sizes and colors. Students are exploring the way these blocks fit together, and by doing that, they are learning to recognize dimensional relationships and patterns. These great learning materials are the perfect introduction for math and later algebra. The Trinomial Cube, for example, is the physical representation of the trinomial formula (a+b+c)³.
