Our kindergarten students loved making eruptions while learning about volcanoes.
This fun science experiment showed us how volcanoes form and grow. This natural phenomenon introduces to our classroom the topic of change. Students observe how the eruption creates physical change. This gives students the foundation for understanding concepts of phenomena that sculpt the earth. They are also able to define vocabulary terms relating to volcanoes and volcanic activity.
And above all, they had so much fun!
