Food is Fuel!
Our lower elementary students at Summit-Questa Montessori school are being taught their healthy food curriculum. Students are curious, and teaching them about nutrition will explain why we should eat certain foods and avoid others. Eat this, not that. Students learn about the importance of nutrition and how their bodies would be affected if they only ate foods which are low in nutrients. Engaging student based tasks makes this fun learning experience even better.
