The very hungry Caterpillar!
We love to raise caterpillars and watch how they change into butterflies. We encourage children to observe, talk and write about what they see. It offers such a great opportunity to witness the life cycle of nature. Children realize that growth is not predictable. Students see different growth rates and are becoming scientists as they observe and record data in a journal. Of course, our students are waiting for the final stage with much anticipation.
We found this caterpillar in the garden, and it is extremely hungry!
