We are getting into the Holiday Spirit!
Our Sparrows classroom is getting into the Holiday spirit, and of course, we are doing that with traditions from all over the world.
They have just learned the Spanish song “Mi Burrito Sabanero” . “Mi Burrito Sabanero” was written by Venezuelan composer Hugo Blanco and by a children’s group called “La Rondallita” in 1975. Since then, the song has been recorded many times by various Latin artists.
This is a song, you really can’t get away from it. It is about a little boy and a donkey who are on their way to Bethlehem the night Jesus was born. Along the way, the little boy got excited and encouraged his donkey to hurry up; tuki tuki tuki tuki. It was also remixed by the Colombian singer, “Juanes”.
