The kindergarteners created poems in Literature class for April’s Poetry Month, and one of the poems won the WLRN – “O, Miami – Edible Odes Contest”. The winners were invited to read their poem at a poetry festival at Vizcaya Village, marking it’s 100th anniversary. Their poem was one of 40 winners, from over 500 entries nationwide. Their presentation stole the show, and the hearts of the audience!
