At Summit-Questa Montessori School each classroom has its own little garden. Maria Montessori believed that the outdoor environment is a natural extension of the classroom, and our students love it. We regularly take small groups outside to pot plants, water plants, dig and weed. As children are sensorial learners, they connect with the beauty of our environment.
