Did we mention that our students love our Erdkinder program? Our middle school students are running our barn, our snack business, the development of an online business, the planting of a vegetable garden, and the marketing and sales as a complete business unit. This includes caring for the animals. Experiential work is the introduction to both, nature and civilization. Our adolescents work in a real way. They build a “mini” society of adolescents which includes growing crops, taking care of the animals, exchanging products for money, as well as learning about money and their financial responsibilities.

The child by the age twelve should already be taking an active part in social life; he should be producing, selling, and working, not in order to learn a trade, but because working means coming into contact with life, participating in the building of supernature.
