Happy Earth Day!
Earth Day, which was first celebrated on April 22, 1970, has now become an event which is celebrated all over the world. Earth Day’s mission is to drive positive action for our planet. Not only today, but also throughout the year, Summit-Questa Montessori School strives to promote a clean and healthy living and tries to create a sustainable habitat for people and wildlife alike. We love our campus, and we try to focus on natural processes as much as we can.
Our students take part in regular environmentally-friendly activities such as beach clean-ups, planting fruits and vegetables, maintaining their own gardens, and helping to keep our campus clean and safe for all living creatures. This year’s theme is “Restore Our Earth”, which focuses on green technologies and natural processes. We, as a community, still have a long way to go, but are trying every day to do our best.
