It has been a while since we shared some of our famous practical life lessons. As we are getting closer to our summer break and vacations, one of our favorite practical life lessons at Summit-Questa Montessori School is how to pack their own suitcase. Our early childhood students learn how to pack your own suitcase. This is an important life skill and the student is learning how to follow a very specific motor sequence. This exercise is done independently and students develop emotional and executive skills, which helps them in academic subjects such as math and language.
