Montessori celebration of life – a true birthday celebration for everyone. All children and teachers sit in a wide circle around the sun, that has been placed on the floor.
The child then walks around the sun one time for each year of his or her life. As the child walks, the children talk about what they were doing when he or she was younger. The simplicity, along with a bit of science and history is loved by everyone at SQMS. We honor the child’s life and celebrate the child’s knowledge, accomplishments and skills.
It is just an amazing, Montessori celebration.
