One of our favorite games!
This sensorial game is introducing geometric solids. Our students go through different steps. First, the child is introduced to geometric shapes, then we practice the lesson, and finally we practice for mastery. Students are learning words such as vertex / vertices, long / longer, short / shorter and thick / wide. Our students are taught the names and we discuss the attributes of each solid. This teaches our students the stereognostic sense, which means to understand and perceive the form and nature of geometric shapes through touch.
