Pumpkin Fun! Our lower elementary students are starting to get prepared for the spooky season. Before the painting and cutting begins, we use it as a way to teach children. Math, science, geography, history, and language arts are all subjects which we include in the super fun lessons of our “Pumpkin School”. Students are not only painting or cutting the pumpkin, they are measuring, estimating, and weighing the pumpkins. They also get to know the history and geography about pumpkins.
