The Summit-Questa National Junior Honor Society participated this past weekend in the National Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. The NJHS is made up of students who excel in areas of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. Established in 1929 the National Junior Honors Society has been enabling students to grow together and become the leaders of tomorrow.
Relay for Life is a community-based fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. Each year, more than 5 000 Relay For Life events take place in over twenty countries. Events are held in local communities, campus universities and in virtual worlds. This year Summit-Questa’s National Junior Honor Society raised $3,500 for the charity and had a great time doing it!
We are so proud of our students for donating their time and effort for this terrific cause. A special thanks to all who sponsored the Summit-Questa Nantional Junior Honor Society at the 2019 Relay for Life. Way to go Seahawks!
