Montessori is a hands-on learning and a multi-sensory approach. The purpose of sensorial activities is to sort out different impressions given by the senses. One of our VPK classes at Summit-Questa Montessori School used sensorial bins to further develop their stereognostic sense. This means in Montessori that the child will be able to identify and perceive the size and shape of objects with their eyes closed.
