Our Erdkinder class is working very hard on their bee hotels.
At the moment we have to make a lot of math connections: Area, diameter, ratio, and calculating percentages.
Bee hotels are used as breeding places by solitary bees like Mason bees, Leafcutter bees and Yellow-faced bees. None of these bees are aggressive, so they are fine around children. We are so excited!
