Meet Frosty!
Summit-Questa Montessori School has a new family member.
Her name is Frosty! We adopted her, but she lives on the Big Sandy Creek Dairy Farm in Georgia. Throughout the year, our classrooms will follow the farm’s story and the little heifer as she grows. This gives students the opportunity to gain a firsthand look inside a dairy farm.
With live video chats, photos and other classroom activities, matched to their curriculum, it will give students a deeper knowledge and understanding of the dairy industry. Additionally, they will learn where their food comes from and their roles as a consumer.
