Why is Montessori education so appealing to parents and educators around the world?
We all want our children to become strong, independent, self-directed and knowledgeable people. Montessori education emphasizes independence and being capable of initiating learning from early on in a supportive, well-prepared learning environment. Montessori sets a strong foundation from early on (birth through age of 6), which sets a strong foundation of who the child will become later on in life.
Unlike traditional schools, Summit-Questa Montessori school offers a multi-age level approach to learning. Ideally most of our students remain with a single teacher for three years, which forms strong bonds with the teacher and the other students. We love our strong, small Montessori community!
