Our students meet the world around them constantly through exploring their senses. A typical Montessori classroom does not only have the typical five senses (seeing, hearing, touching, tasting, smelling) but in Montessori we recognize 9 different senses:
Tactile
Visual
Stereognostic
Baric
Thermic
Oditory
Olfactory
Gustatory
Chromatic
Here our toddlers are exploring their senses with this hands-on activity. This offers young students the opportunity to develop manipulative skills, eye-hand coordination and thinking and problem solving skills.
