Meet Ms.Patti, one of our inspiring lower elementary teachers. She has dedicated 26 years to SQMS. Today we want to recognized her by asking a few questions.
What has kept you motivated and passionate about teaching at this school for so many years?
SQMS fits my personality style. Ms. Judy has created an open and loving environment where I can bring out my strengths, challenge my weaknesses, and continue to grow alongside the children.
What advice would you give to new teachers just starting their careers at this school?
Find a practice, faith, philosophy, or religion that you can use to bring out your best self. Also, ask for help from your peers and let yourself be a part of the team.
What is the most rewarding part of being a teacher?
Those thousands of moments interacting with the individual children- helping them with lessons and learning valuable life lessons from them.
