HANDBID for the Summit Palooza Silent Auction this year. If you have not heard of HANDBID, it is an auction application that can be used on iPhones, iPads and Android devices. This application will replace the paper bid sheets that were previously used at our silent auction.
Handbid will give you the flexibility to participate remotely from anywhere even if you or other family members are unable to attend the event. It will also provide real time updates and higher bid notifications so that you do not lose out on the items you really want!!!
Set up is as easy as 1-2-3
1. Download the HANDBID app from the app store or go to www.summitpalooza.com for the link
2. Create an account
3. Login
Our auction will be viewable on HANDBID starting Thursday, February 19 under the title Summit Palooza 2015. Be sure to log in to your account that day to start finding out what items are up for auction!
Winning bidders will receive an invoice on their phone that can be quickly reviewed and paid. For easy and fast check out/payment process, we encourage you to include your credit card number in HANBID. HANBID uses Stripe as the credit card processing partner. HANBID and Strip are both PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliant and recently went through a re-certification process on PCI. Credit cards are NOT displayed or saved in their database. Data is encrypted and their website uses SSL.
